About janet yang rohr


Janet Yang Rohr represents Illinois' 41st House District, serving the Naperville, Bolingbrook, and Warrenville communities. She began her first term in January 2021 and is currently serving her second term in the 103rd General Assembly. She is a member of the Elementary & Secondary Education and Higher Appropriations Committees, the School Curriculum Policy and Administration, Licensing & Charter Schools Elementary and Secondary Education Committees, and the Health Care Availability & Access, Personnel & Pensions, and Small Business, Tech Innovation & Entrepreneurship Committees. 

Yang Rohr graduated from and previously served as a school board member for Naperville CUSD 203 schools. She earned her bachelor's degree in English and economics from Northwestern University and her masters in business administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. As a professional in the investment industry for the last two decades, she has been widely quoted and cited for her investment expertise. She's written and researched extensively on retirement and college savings plans, and she holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Her legislative priorities include affordable health care, women’s rights, lowering taxes, improving education, and sustainability.
